The Assassin's Enemy Lover

Chapter 172

“Hie.....I am looking for Yi Feng?” he said and the group absentmindedly pointed at the door.

“Thanks,” he replied with an appreciative smile before walking away. The three people followed his figure with their eyes until he disappeared.

“Dang.... I want one of those,” said the girl only for her sister to smack her upside her head.

“This is a divine meal.... it can’t be devoured, we can only look at it to appease our hunger.”

“Wise words indeed,” said the only guy in the group.

Zi Han was filling up the shot glasses while Shorty was distributing them when a shadow loomed over them.

“Hey sweetie,” said a familiar yet unfamiliar voice.

Zi Han subconsciously raised his head and his eyes narrowed for a second before they widened like light bulbs. “Leila?” he asked hesitantly.

.....

“Not when I am dressed like this. You can call me doctor Kiet... or just Kiet if you prefer,” he said while picking up a shot glass and downing it in one go.

Zi Han, “!!!”

“Oh.... nice, nice meeting you doctor Kiet. You want to join us?” he asked but Kiet shook his head in refusal before saying,

“No, I came here looking for my man. Have you seen.... him?,” he said before letting out a chuckle having spotted him, “Never mind. I will see you later.”

“Okay,” muttered Zi Han while craning his neck to see which person Kiet was referring to.

Hela who was now sitting beside him leaned in close before whispering, “Your friend?”

“And who is this man he is talking about?” asked Shannon leaning in close to hear the gossip.

“Seriously.... are you playing or not?” said Shaun sensing that this conversation was heading in a horrible direction.

“Playing, playing geez,” replied Shannon still annoyed that she had lost star coins to him.

As soon as Kiet entered the room Yi Feng who had been explaining to Yi Chen exactly what happened suddenly spotted Kiet coming. Like a gazelle having spotted a lion he high-tailed out of there leaving behind his confused cousin.

Unfortunately for him, Kiet was faster when he wasn’t wearing heels thus he was caught before he could even take two steps. His shoulders were grasped and he was pulled back before he was hugged from behind.

Yi Chen, “???”

How envious he was right now. It seemed it was going great for everyone except him. Yi Feng who was hugged like a teddy bear freed himself while whispering, “Ah-Chen is looking, don’t do it here.”

Out of respect for Yi Chen, Kiet let go that is after saying, “Okay, but when we are alone you aren’t allowed to make a fuss,” with his warm breath brushing against the back of Yi Feng’s neck.

Yi Feng felt itchy and immediately pushed him away a little embarrassed. It turns out these two had a steamy night and Yi Feng was um.... um.... poked by Kiet’s pogo stick. One thing led to another and during his moment of ecstasy, he subconsciously lay claim to Kiet. In essence, this was the best way, to sum up what happened.

While Yi Chen was trying to make sense of this unexpected love affair, Zi Han was crossing his fingers that his color wouldn’t be picked. This game was like a mish-mash of spin the bottle slash seven minutes in heaven slash truth or dare combined.

Each person had a color sticker on their foreheads. When they press start the app would light up on several colors before randomly stopping on one. The previous victim would be the one to either dare them to do something, ask a question they have to answer truthfully, or take a shot.

One would assume drinking a shot would be much easier but the liquor on the table was the ultimate challenge much worse than any dare or personal question.

It was not only bitter but it was also high proof and for a person who rarely drank like Zi Han two of them were enough to take him out.

After Hela came back from doing her dare which was to kiss Li Ran it was her turn to make someone else’s life miserable.

On that note, the person who asked her to do that dare or drink was probably bribed by Li Ran because his request was oddly specific.

Anyway, the app happened to stop on Zi Han’s color. He wanted to choose dare but judging from the mischievous look on Hela and Shannon’s faces this probably wouldn’t end well for him so he chose to drink.

But soon after he regretted it so much. The bitterness was the kind that stuck to your tongue for weeks. He had only one shot but he was already feeling like he was sitting on fluffy clouds. In fact, he regretted ever listening to her and playing this perverted game.

Unfortunately, despite him crossing his fingers his color was picked again but at least this time it wasn’t Hela or Shannon who would make him miserable.

It was that red-haired boy that hung out with Evan all the time. His name was Crvena and the best way to describe him would be the class clown. He was the type of guy people would question how he even got into class one.

“Dare or drink?” asked Crvena with a sly grin on his face. He was especially resentful having been asked to call his mother and tell her that his girlfriend was pregnant.

With the kind of mother he had, he was cursed half to death in front of everyone. His mother had absolutely no filter at all yelling to the moon and back. In her defense, she had no idea the call was on loudspeaker so yes..... he was very resentful at this moment.

Zi Han looked at that poison in the cute glass and swallowed. The lingering bitterness on his tongue intensified.

Scratching the back of his head he drew in a cold breath of air and accepted his fate. “Dare...

. I choose dare,” he said through gritted teeth. How bad could it be, right?

The smile on Crvena’s face grew as he rubbed his palms together saying, “Then how about you kiss someone? Let’s say.....,” looking around the room and outside for a particular person, “him.”

“Who?..... Fuck.... Can I change it? I take it back. I want to drink,” he said and Crvena picked up five shot glasses one by one from the center of the table and placed them near Zi Han.

Tap! Tap! Tap! Tap!...

That was the sound of four shot glasses lightly hitting the table.

“Then you should accept the punishment.....,” he replied and soon a soft tapping sound followed as he placed the last shot glass.

“Fuck!” swore Zi Han under his breath. He regretted it so much.
